FotoCommunity Meet-Up at the same time as ours!

Serendipity!

There's something in Germany called the FotoCommunity, which as the name
implies is a... uh.. Photo Community, but as the cool, spaceless spelling
suggests it is Internet-based. 

Their annual Meet-Up is also in Berlin this year, also on September
7-9! However, they've gone ahead and called it a Festival.

They have some very cool classes, but being Germans they're doing the whole
thing in German. Makes sense.... But that means it is of little immediate value to
us. 

Also, being Germans, they're very serious about the whole thing, and
you only get to go if you're a paying member. So we can't just go and flaunt
our blogger coolness over their non-blogger lives.

HOWEVER: I think on Saturday night when things are more casual we can all go
by there and say hi (if we are thusly inclined.) 

This brings up a question of identifying tribe markings. Branding and tattooing
may exceed even MY fondness for our little community of photobloggers, but a
hat, t-shirt, or quirky lapel-pin might be the way to go. I will give this some
deep thought. 

Anyway: be prepared to see other knowledgeable-looking photographers
(fotografen) out-and-about in Berlin.
