Thursday and Friday before the meet-up

Hey! so excited to meet you all.

Ntfxs (www.nitifixis.com) and me are arriving thursday afternoon and we are wondering if would have already arrived anyone. Maybe we can visit together some parts of the city we won't see during the meeting.

Can you please, Chrys and Iron Flatline, recommend us some places to visit thursday afternoon-evening and friday?

Should i have to bring my beloved underwater camera? :P

well hey,

if you arrive today and you have time to, you need to go and visit mitte, hackescher markt and have a walk around there. its a bit touristy, but worth a walk. if you are hungry, have some spicy vietnam food at
MONSIEUR VUONG,
Alte Schönhauser Str. 46
10119 Berlin-Mitte. note: its very crowded around lunchtime and from 8pm on.

Also, stroll around at Lychener Str., enjoy the cafes, stores and atmosphere. Take a look at the house at Lychener Str. 60, a friend of mine lives there, its a nice photo opportunity.

bergmannstr. in kreuzberg is also a nice place,

don't know whether you read this in time. if you need any more specific informatio, let me know i am born and raised in berlin ;)

Sorry for my (very) bad english:

Sightseeing thursday afternoon-evening and friday- my favorites:

-Gendarmenmarkt (german and french Church-> "Deutscher Dom", Französischer Dom", theater-> "Schauspielhaus" with a sculptur from Schinkel  under the outside staircase ... altogether one of the most beautiful places of Europe)

- Alexanderplatz ("Fernsehturm" , If too many wait at the tower, evade then->Park Inn Sightseeing from 40. floor-> look -> http://www.berlinansichten.de/2007/20070612215230.html )

- Potsdamer Platz (and south of it station "Gleisdreieck"->a crossing of two underground lines, old architecture from steel)

- Short route along the north side areas of government administration, beginning Friedrichstrasse, Marshall bridge (look -> http://www.berlinansichten.de/2007/20070526211419.html )

- Station "Warschauer Straße"-> East Side gallery (look -> http://www.berlinansichten.de/2006/20050710153109.html ) -> Beginning of route Wahrschauer Straße and ends at the east station "Ostbahnhof"

I hope, that am okay as idea for some short routes by the city. We see ourselves in Ellington Hotel and on Saturday at the Brandenburger gate.
